October 7 - 1:15pm Tournament Update
1) The tournament is not canceled and as of now is scheduled as planned.
2) We keep getting questions from people, not from the area, regarding how our area may be affected by this hurricane. All our local weathermen are saying that this hurricane will not impact us at all. Quite honestly, the rain chances keep going down every couple of hours.
3) As far as the hurricane itself, it is supposed to hit 800 miles away from the city of Clearwater in Alabama or Mississippi.
4) The safety of our families is always our number one concern and if we feel there is any danger or safety issues in regard to the storm, we will update you here and take the appropriate action.
5) Please relay these messages to your parents so that they have all the information they need and they do not need to contact the site directors. If we have an update before the weekend, it will be posted on this site. Thank you.
COACHES, PLAYERS, PARENTS:
· ALL WEATHER UPDATES WILL BE POSTED TO THIS WEBSITE ONLY . WE ARE AWARE OF THE POSSIBLE WEATHER ISSUES, BUT WE ALSO KNOW THIS IS FLORIDA & FORECASTS CHANGE DAILY, ESPECIALLY ON THE COAST IN CLEARWATER.
· THERE WILL BE A $10 PER PERSON GATE FEE FOR ANY PERSON OVER 10 YEARS OLD. ONE FEE WHETHER YOU ATTEND ONE DAY OR BOTH DAYS.
· GAMES WILL BE ONE HOUR 20 MINUTES , FINISH THE BATTER.
· FREE SUBSTITUTIONS, NO LINE UP CARDS NEEDED. PLEASE KEEP THE INTEGRITY OF THE BATTING ORDER.
RULES SPECIFIC FOR EC MOORE (CLEARWATER) FIELDS 1-4 :
· NO DOGS ALLOWED! ONLY MEDICALLY NECESSARY SERVICE ANIMALS ARE ALLOWED INSIDE THE GATES OF THE PARK. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS.
· TENTS ARE ALLOWED BUT CANNNOT BE PLACED OVER THE BLEACHERS AT ANY TIME.
· SCOOTERS, SKATES, ROLLERBLADES, BIKES, ETC. ARE NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE GATES AS THEY ARE A SAFETY HAZZARD FOR SPECTATORS.
· CHAIRS ARE NOT ALLOWED IN ANY OF THE PLANTERS, ESPECIALLY THE ELEVATED PLANTERS .
